Small Power Plants
## Problems with Big power plants:
- Large capital cost (Expensive)
- Expensive power Transmission
- Takes a lot of Time
- Resource demand is very High
### Community Needs:
- Does not need too much Capital
- Should have Good Control
- Utilizes local Resources
## Small powerplants Examples:
1. Micro Hydro
- Suited for places like Nepal
- Low cost & 24x7
- Around 10-100 KW output
- problem: finding location & consistant waterfalls
2. Bio Gas
- simple & cost efficiency
- 24x7 & fully controllable
- problem: collection of bio matter
3. Bio Mass
- Wood waste to Agricultural waste
- 24x7 & Fully controllable
- problem: polution
